Mark Quayle

Specialist (Associate Director)
Telephone: +44 (0) 20 7016 1810, Email: mark@dnw.co.uk
Mark was educated at The King’s School, Ely, and Exeter University, where he read History and Ancient History. He joined the medal department at Spink straight from university in July 2003. Having embarked on his education in all things medallic under the watchful eye of John Hayward, Mark was appointed head of the department, aged just 24, in July 2006. After 13 years at Spink he decided to embark on a new challenge, and made the move to Dix Noonan Webb in August 2016. Over the course of his career he has been instrumental in bringing to auction many record-breaking collections and groups of medals, including no fewer than 21 Victoria Crosses. Mark has also overseen a number of important private-treaty sales. He has a strong personal interest in honours and awards to the Royal Air Force.
