Just 62 members of the 2nd Life Guards were present at Vittoria and 76 at Toulouse.

Mullen’s published roll states ‘Not on roll. Offered by Glendining in 1967 in a pair with Waterloo. On Waterloo Roll as William and Dwelly’s Muster Roll as James Gibbons. Pension 11.11.18.’ The Pension List further states that he was slightly wounded at Waterloo.
