Charles I (1625-1649), Oxford mint, Triple Unite, 1644, mm. plumelet on obv. only, half-length figure left, holding sword and palm branch, pellet stops, rev. Declaration in three lines on continuous scroll, three Oxford plumes and value above, 1644 oxon below, pellet stops, group of five pellets after inimici, 26.81g/4h (B-J VII-S11; SCBI Brooker 841, this coin; SCBI Schneider 303, same dies; N 2385; S 2729). Raised die marks in obverse field, a few other minor surface marks, otherwise extremely fine or better, extremely rare £80,000-100,000
