James VIII, Pattern Guinea, 1716, in silver, by M. Young from dies by N. Roettiers, c. 1828, laureate youthful bust left, iacobus viii dei gratia, rev. cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, edge plain, 6.57g/6h (Woolf 33:1; B 2, fig. 1095; S 5725). Some evidence of rust marks on the obverse die, otherwise extremely fine or better, rare £1,500-2,000
