84th Field Battery, Royal Field Artillery, handwritten daily order book, covering the period 17 November 1899 to 2 February 1900, this completely full book containing detail of the daily routine of the battery and detailing many individual names, in restored original leather bindings, good condition £50-100

A cursory glance of this book reveals a number of interesting signatures of officers who were either decorated or killed during the Great War. The Battery Commander, whose signature also appears several times was killed in action during the Boer War at Brakenlaagte on 30 October 1901.
