Royal Bristol Volunteers Grenadier Company Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate Hall Marked Silver 1803, an exceptionally rare and fine example, the oval silver back plate with engraved strap ‘Royal Bristol Volunteers’, in the centre an applied fused grenade, silver ball and gilt flames, one hook two stud fasteners, the reverse with hall marks for London 1803 by PB/AB/WB (Peter, Anne and William Bateman), very fine condition £1500-2000
