The Gloucestershire Regiment Officer’s 1881 Pattern Helmet Plate and Waist Belt Clasp, the first of crowned eight pointed star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre a silver Sphinx/Egypt on a ground of black velvet with silver scroll below ‘The Gloucestershire Regiment’, three loop fasteners; the second of standard 1855 pattern featuring a central Sphinx/Egypt in silver and ‘Gloucestershire Regiment’ on the circular surround, matching benchmarks ‘37’, the first lacks most gilt, the second in very good condition (2) £150-250
