Medal of Gratitude in card box, in envelope, with an old slip inscribed, ‘No. 11 M. G. C. Heathcote’ - this possibly Sister Mary Gertrude Caroline Heathcote, Queen Alexandra’s Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve. She landed in France on 29 February 1940; served with No. 6 General Hospital. Awarded the R.R.C. London Gazette 11 June 1942.
