The group is accompanied by a quantity of original documents and photographs including several of the recipient, one during the Boer War, and a fine one of General Sir Ian Hamilton autographed 'For Captn. F. Bone-From Ian Hamilton, his friend of many years standing.'; two Christmas cards from Ian Hamilton, both signed, 1939 and 1943; Army Gymnastic Staff certificate to Captain F.D. Bone, for valuable services rendered to the Country during the War as an instructor of Physical and Bayonet Training, 1st April, 1919; a quantity of articles written by Bone whilst employed as a journalist in London.
