Two white metal G.S.T.P. military issue pocket watches, the first with white dial and Arabic numerals, the hands and quarter numerals luminous, with subsidiary seconds dial, jewelled movement, case with screwdown back, bearing broad arrow, G.S.T.P and numbered ‘M74028’, the second of similar design, dial signed ‘Leonidas’ and case bearing broad arrow, G.S.T.P and numbered ‘U11740’. £150-200

Condition Report

The first has one chip towards with edge of the dial (base metal showing though) and a couple of other small hairline cracks, and is showing general wear; the glass (plastic) is quite yellowed and scuffed; the movement runs when wound, but remains untested for timekeeping; the case shows general surface wear all over. The second has dial is quite a lot of age spotting and general wear and is rather yellow; the glass (plastic) is quite yellowed and shows some wear; the movement runs when wound, but remains untested for timekeeping; the case is chome plated and shows general scuffing and wear to the back and flaking of the plating around the inner edge of the bezel. We recommend all watches purchased at auction will require a full service.
