Condition Report

The exterior of the watch is in good condition, with minimal wear throughout. The movement is unviewed. The battery has been recently replaced, and the watch is running but is untested for accurate time keeping. The original red box is in generally good condition, with some creasing/wear visible at the hinge to the exterior of the box. We recommend all watches purchased at auction will require a full service.

Footnote

Certina was one of the many watch makers in the early 1970s to produce an electronic model that employed ESA’s 9162 or 9164 tuning fork movements.
