An Italian enamelled serpent bangle, the articulated sprung bangle modelled as a coiled serpent with vari-coloured basse taille enamel scales, the head, neck and tail accented with single-cut diamonds and with round-cut ruby eyes, mounted in yellow precious metal, stamped ‘18kt, Italy’, overall length approximately 25cm. £2500-3500

Condition Report

One ruby is chipped. The diamonds are all present and correct and quite lively. The enamel has a few small patches of damage to the scales at the edges, but is mostly in reasonable condition. The mount shows general light surface wear. Gross weight 91gm.
