A pair or emerald and diamond cluster earrings, the step-cut emerald and brilliant-cut diamonds clusters all claw set in white precious metal, stamped ‘750’, to clip back and post fittings, accompanied by an IGC report, cluster length 16mm. £3000-5000

Condition Report

The emeralds are bright lightish mid green colour, well matched, with some inclusions visible, but slight wear only; emeralds measure 8.2 x 6.4mm and 8.5 x 6.8mm respectively. The diamonds are bright and livley. The mounts show minimal wear. The earrings are of recent manufacture. Gross weight 8gm. Clusters measure 16 x 14mm.

Footnote

The International Gemmological Centre Report ref PT-1805714, dated 31st May 2018, states that the emeralds have a combined weight of 4.4 carats and are of Colombian origin, and the 28 diamonds have a combined weight of 2 carats, with a colour grade of G-H and a clarity grade of VVS-VS.
