A 16th century emerald singe stone ring, the square step-cut emerald and raised closed back collet setting, to triangular section shank, mounted in yellow gold, ring size I. £2000-3000

Condition Report

The emerald is a lightish mid green colour, one inclusion visible without magnification, there is a chip to one corner and some wear to the facet edges. The mount shows some general surface wear, but is in good condition. Bezel measures 5.9mm x 5.9mm x 6.2mm. Weight 3.05gm.
