A lady’s Happy Diamond wristwatch, by Chopard, the signed white enamel dial within a clear glass bezel enclosing seven loose collet set brilliant-cut ‘Happy’ diamonds, within brilliant-cut diamond set borders, ribbon bow shoulders pavé set with small brilliant-cut diamonds and principal baguette-cut diamonds, the reverse of case bearing European convention mark ‘750’, signed ‘Happy Diamonds’ and numbered ‘4097 1 526073’, to a polished brick-link bracelet strap, clasp signed and numbered ‘20/5595’, in Chopard case and box, wristwatch length 18cm. £3000-5000

Condition Report

The dial and glass are fine. The movement is unviewed, but is not running at the moment, it will require a new battery at the very least. The diamonds are all present and correct and bright and lively; the two baguette-cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.15 carats each, the floating brilliant-cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.03-0.04 carats each. The case has a few scratches to the back around the opening, the bracelet show light surface wear only. The dial diameter is 10mm, bezel diameter 24mm. Gross weight 55gm. We recommend that all watches purchased at auction will require/benefit from a full service.
