An Edwardian opal and peridot brooch/pendant, the central oval cabochon opal claw set within an open millegrained scroll surround, highlighted with further small cabochon opals each between two round-cut peridots, mounted in yellow gold, length 27mm. £200-300

Condition Report

The milky opals are whitish grey in body colour with a reasonable play of colour, one of the small opals is shipped, but the generally show minimal wear. One peridot is lacking, the stones are quite well matched in colour, but all show some wear. The mount is unmarked and untested, it shows light wear only. There is a small suspensory loop to one end.
