Japan, Empire, a Second World War Japanese Steel Helmet, complete with liner and chin strap; together with a 1939-45 Star; Burma Star; Defence Medal and War Medal 1939-45; and a quantity of badges, buttons and cloth insignia, mostly relating to the Devonshire Regiment; Burma Regiment, and the British South African Police, generally good condition (parcel) £200-£300


The medals and badges in this lot relate to Captain John Michael Riddle who served during the Burma Campaign with the Devonshire Regiment and the Burma Regiment. The Japanese helmet was brought back by Riddle from Burma. Sold with Officer’s Record of Service Book and five military pamphlets.
