A Victorian diamond set bar brooch and a wedding ring, the bar brooch composed of five roundels with applied bead and wirework borders, alternately centred with claw set old brilliant-cut diamonds or round-cut citrines, mounted in yellow gold, reverse inscribed ‘Anna from James, Nov 18th 1884’, together with a wedding band, interior inscribed for the same couple, bar brooch length 49mm. £300-£500

The bar brooch is in nice condition, with all applied detail fine and minimal wear. The diamonds are rather uneven in cut, approximately 0.1 carats each, the trines are a similar size and fairly lively (untested). The wedding band hs been resized, cutting through the inscription.
