A Columbian emerald and diamond dress ring, the cut-cornered rectangular step-cut emerald collet set within a millegrained cluster surround of small old-cut diamonds, mounted in yellow and white precious with fleur-de-lys style shoulders, accompanied by an Emerald Report from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory, emerald measures approximately 15 x 11 x 7.9mm, ring size K½. £3,000-£5,000

Condition Report

The emerald is mid green in colour with a slightly cloudy appearance due to multiple inclusions. The emerald in its collet setting appears to have been later mounted in the cluster ring mount. The diamonds are all present and correct. The mount shows only slight wear. Cluster measures 20 x 16mm.

The Gem & Pearl Laboratory Emerald Report, dated 16th April 2019, ref: 17130, confirms the emerald is of Colombian origin with significant clarity enhancement.
