A sapphire and diamond collar necklace, by Poniros, the collar with central chevron design, tapering to each side, set throughout with sapphires of varying hues (blue, green, pink, yellow, orange and white) in oval, round and pear and step cuts, the design scattered with brilliant-cut diamond highlights, each gemstone individually claw set, white precious metal mounted, the clasp stamped ‘750’ for 18ct gold, signed to applied plaque beside the clasp, total sapphire weight 196.62 carats, total diamond weight 2.02 carats, dimensions: necklace - internal circumference approximately 42cm, length 18.5cm. £15,000-£18,000
