Greek Coinages, ATTICA, Athens, Tetradrachm struck by the magistrates Antiochos, Karaichos and Eirena, c. 168, Stephanophoric type, helmeted head of Athena right, rev. owl standing right on amphora, magistrates’ names in fields, elephant to right,all within wreath, 16.55g (Thompson 397f; cf. BMC 322). About very fine, but with traces of mounting on edge £150-£180
