A Victorian eight piece silver topped and hobnail cut-glass dressing table set, comprising two cylindrical jars, two square section jars, one oval pot, one cushion-shaped pot with hinged cover and two rectangular hairpin trays, all the covers engraved with ornate strapwork decoration, initiated ‘VS’ with cockerel crest, hallmarked for London 1858, by makers Thomas Johnson I, retailed by Austin of Dublin, tallest jar 9.5cm, length of hairpin trays 14cm. £300-£400
