Groat, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, tressure of six arcs, trefoils in spandrels, saltire behind head, 3.84g/2h (SCBI 35, –; B 5a, fig. 324A; S 5133). Legends weak at 4 o’clock, otherwise good very fine with clear portrait and attractive iridescent tone, rare (£400-500)
