The Welch Regiment Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet. A very good example bearing the post 1902 plate in gilt and silver, complete with all gilded brass fittings including the chin chain. Internally sound with white leather sweatband. Evidence that an earlier plate has been fitted, little gilt remains to the spike quadrant and chin chain, the thread on the spike is stripped. £450-550
