China 1842 (Michael O’Dea, Gunner, Bombay Artillery) suspension re-fixed, brooch marks to obverse, edge bruising and contact marks, therefore fine but rare £80-120

Michael O’Dea was one of only 57 Bombay Artillerymen to receive the medal for China 1842. These men were all loaned for service aboard Bombay Marine Ships of the Honourable East India Company, O’Dea being confirmed as a Gunner aboard the Sesostris.
