British South Africa Company Medal 1890-97, reverse Rhodesia 1896, 1 clasp, Mashonaland 1897 (783 Armour. Sergt., A.O. Corps); Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Cape Colony, Rhodesia, Relief of Mafeking (copy), Orange Free State, Transvaal (783 Ar. Sjt., A.O.C.); King’s South Africa, 2 clasps, partly renamed to another recipient; Permanent Forces L.S. & G.C., G.V.R. (Arm. S/Sgt., R.C.O.C.) contact marks, therefore nearly very fine and better, the first rare (4) £280-320

Confirmed on the roll for Rhodesia 1896, one of only six medals to the A.O.C., and on the roll of the British South Africa Company Police for Mashonaland 1897. He is only entitled to the clasp for Rhodesia on his Q.S.A., in addition to the K.S.A. with 2 clasps. Sold with copy service papers including Canadian records.
