Richard James Sadd served during the Second World War in the Irish Guards, following which he joined the Royal Household staff in the Lord Chamberlain’s Office. He retired in 1978 and died shortly afterwards on 7 April that year. Sold with full research including details of the many state and other visits for which he received his awards, together with a large quantity of original documents, award certificates, Restricted Permission to Wear letters, and three photographs.
