David II, Second coinage, Groat, class A, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, small young bust, tressure of six arcs, pellets in spandrels, double saltire stops, 4.54g/3h (SCBI 35, –; B 7, fig. 253; S 5094). Partly flat in legends, otherwise good very fine and toned, scarce £300-400
