Bp Marsh, class VIa, Pieres, pieres · on · dvr, 1.34g/7h (Allen 23; SCBI Mass 1756ff; N 974; S 1353); together with cut Halfpence (2), classes Vb and Vc, both Pieres [3]. First good fine or better but with rim hammered up and made round, others fine £100-150

The evidence suggests that some of the coins of this class may have been struck on flans cut with a hollow cylindrical punch, producing a round flan with raised edges (Allen p.169)
