Exposition Universelle Internationale, Paris, 1900, a silver medal by J.-B. Daniel-Dupuis, robed female symbolising History inscribing the date on a tablet held by a naked boy, rev. monnaie de paris, winged Genius brandishing torch and leaning on a coining press, 50mm (PBE 317; CGMP pp.172-3; BDM I, 666; Coll. R. Marx 310; cf. BDW 5, 5). Very fine, grey tone, rare in silver (£60-80)
