A Georgian silver vinaigrette, of rectangular form with hinged lid and chased foliate and floral borders, lid inscribed ‘Theodosia’, hallmarked for Birmingham, 1818 and bearing maker’s mark ‘IT’, dimensions 29 x 21 x 8.5mm. £60-£80

Mrs Theodosia Barbara Whalley (née Meade) was the only daughter of the Hon. and Ven. Pierce Meade, Archdeacon of Dromore and the last remaining grandchild of Thomas Percy, Bishop of Dromore.
