A Georgian blue enamel and diamond ring, the navette-shaped bezel centred with a domed blue enamel panel applied with a classical urn inset with a pear-shaped rose-cut diamond and further smaller rose-cut diamonds, to a pinched collet set rose-cut diamond border, gold and silver mounted, to pierced decorated shoulders and shank (possibly later added), ring size Q. £800-£1,200

Condition Report

Principal pear-shaped rose-cut diamond has a surface reaching fracture, the rest of the rose-cut diamonds are present and correct, rather grey in tone. The metal is unmarked and untested. The shank is possibly later. The bezel measures 36 x 17.5mm. Gross weight 10gm. Some damage to the collet setting around the enamel panel, although the enamel itself it fine.
