An Anglo Saxon silver gilt and niello pin head, late 6th century, decorated in animal style II, with opposing birds, repeated on each face; the heads have curved beaks with extended wings; in the centre on both sides is an inset circular garnet. £200-£300

Condition Report

The circular holes at the top are for a connecting chain with a matching pin, so they could be worn together.
