Provenance: Samson Collection, Glendining’s, June 1991.John M’Kechnie served at Waterloo in Captain Robert Boyle’s Company and was wounded at Quatre Bras on 16 June 1815. He died on 18 August 1815, whilst on passage to England, probably as a result of his wounds.
