Footnote

Provenance: F.S. Cokayne Collection.

From the civic heraldry depicted on it, the cataloguer suggests that this represents a possibly otherwise unrecorded ticket for Leeds racecourse, perhaps dating to the brief period when racing was staged at Haigh Park from 1823 to 1832
